This piece was created from acrylic paint. The intent of this piece was to show off the vibrant the beautiful orange-yellow hues of the Grand Canyon in contrast with dull blue-gray hues caused by environmental harms.

This piece was created from soft pastels. It was intended to just showcase the beauty and amazement of Yosemite's monument, Half Dome.

"Smoky" Mountains

This piece was created from colored pencils and covered in gray paint. The coat of gray paint is meant to emphasize the smokiness and air pollution present in the Smoky Mountains.

Falls of Yosemite

This piece was created from pastels with acrylic paint for the waterfall. The contrast in mediums is used to emphasize the water and bring about the possibility of a lack of water in Yosemite.
